Rav Chaim Kanievsky on bus tragedy

Rav Chaim Kanievsky was asked about the horrific bus accident that killed 6 Yidden r"l. Rav Chananya Cholak  sin an interview on the kol chai  radio  said in the name of  Rav Chaim that Mashiach is on the way. He asked  Rav Chaim about the many recent tragedies taking place, to which Rav Chaim responded mashiach is not only on the way he is at the doorstep.
חנניה צ'ולק ללביא ב'קול חי': הייתי אצל מרן הגר"ח קניבסקי ואמר לי ש"המשיח בדרך", שאלתי אותו הרב "אבל מה יהיה כ"כ הרבה אסונות" והרב ענה לי "המשיח כבר לא רק בדרך אלא בפתח ממש"

    Can someone who lives in Eretz Israel ask Rav Kanievsky if he can give us a timeline on Moshiach's arrival. Is it a matter of weeks, months, or years? Being at the doorstep does not mean much to me.

    By me, it's tzurich iyun on R' Chaim. If ch"v moshiach doesn't come in the timeframe people expect based on R' Chaim's words, it can cause a big michshol.

      Rav Chaim did not give a date all he said is that we are very close.
