Thousands gathered  in the streets of Seagate, NY for a commemorative event, one year after Hurricane Sandy devastated the community. It was a Year ago at 8:02 pm when the ocean crashed on Sea gate. Now a Year later, the Town has been Rebuilt B"H and the residents  marked it with a special celebratory event  saying Thank you to HK"BH. Thanking hashem for the Miracles, despite the devastation and damage Hurricane Sandy inflicted on the community both physically and emotionally, there was no loss of life. they said thank you to all the volunteers, host families and donors that helped them triumph over darkness on the oceanfront. A Hachnosas Sefer Torah took place with stops in song at all seagate shuls. The Torah was brought to the Avodas Yisroel Shteibel which lost their sefer Torah in the storm                                        For Photos click HERE
